REFRESH DAY

A practical brand & marketing reset for small businesses
_____________

This is not a workshop or seminar.

It’s a hands-on working day where we sit down and actually update your branding, marketing, or design materials together.
_____________

Running a small business means wearing a lot of hats. Over time, branding and marketing often slip into the background — things still work, but they don’t quite feel right anymore.

A Business Refresh Day is a focused, hands-on workday where we clean up what’s outdated, confusing, or mismatched and get your business clear, usable direction moving forward.

____________________________

This is not a full rebrand.
It’s a smart reset.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

This is a good fit if:

Your logo is fine, but everything else feels inconsistent

Your website, signage, menu, or marketing looks pieced together

You’ve been meaning to “fix it,” but don’t know where to start

You want progress without committing to a long design project

WHAT WE DO IN A REFRESH DAY

Before the workday, I review your current materials and identify key opportunities. During our focused day together, we tackle your top priorities —
which may include:

Brand direction & clarity (what to say and how to say it)

Logo cleanup or refinements

Website structure, content direction, or visual updates

Signage, menus, brochures, or promotional materials

Visual consistency across platforms

At the end of the day, you’ll walk away with:

Clear direction

Updated or refined visuals where it matters most

Practical next steps you can actually use

HOW IT WORKS

First – Short intake and prep before the workday

Next – One focused workday
(remote or in-person when possible)

Last – Follow-up summary with next steps

No long timelines. No endless revisions. No pressure to do more.

BUSINESS REFRESH DAY
INVESTMENT: $2500

Includes prep, the workday, and follow-up.

To keep this focused and effective, I work with no more than 3 businesses per month

Not every business needs a full day.

Big refreshes or small fixes — I help either way.
Smaller, focused projects are available if you’re looking to improve one specific piece
(signage, a flyer, a menu, a website page, or a marketing clean-up).

IF YOU NEED MORE

Sometimes a Refresh Day reveals bigger opportunities — such as a full brand refresh or website build. If that happens, I’ll outline clear options so you can decide what makes sense for your business.

There’s never an obligation to continue.

WHY WORK WITH ME?

I bring:
30+ years of marketing and design experience from top agencies
Real small-business ownership experience
A practical, down-to-earth approach that works especially well for small communities

I understand both the creative side and the realities of running a business.

FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS:

  • Is this a full rebrand?

No. A Business Refresh Day is about clarifying, cleaning up, and aligning what you already have. If a full rebrand makes sense later, we can talk about that — but it’s not the goal of this day.

  • What kind of businesses is this best for?

This works especially well for small businesses like shops, restaurants, inns, makers, and service-based businesses — particularly when things feel pieced together or outdated.

  • Do I need to prepare anything in advance?

I’ll ask for a few materials ahead of time (website, logo files, examples, etc.), but there’s no heavy prep on your end. I take care of the review beforehand.

  • What if I’m not sure what I need yet?

That’s very common. Part of the value of a Refresh Day is helping you figure out what actually matters most — and what doesn’t.

  • What if a full day feels like too much?

Smaller, more focused sessions are available if a full day isn’t the right fit. We can talk through options and decide what makes sense.

  • Will I get finished designs?

Yes — the goal of a Business Refresh Day is to leave you with tangible, usable pieces, not just ideas.

Depending on what we focus on, that may include finished or near‑finished items such as updated layouts, refined visuals, cleaned‑up brand assets, or ready‑to‑use files. In some cases, we may also outline next steps if something larger is uncovered.

The priority is that you walk away with work you can actually use — and clarity about what comes next, if anything.

  • What happens after the Refresh Day?

Some clients stop there, feeling clear and confident. Others choose to continue with additional design or website work. There’s no obligation either way.

  • Do you only offer the Business Refresh Day?

No. The Business Refresh Day is for businesses ready to tackle several things at once. I also work on smaller, one-off projects when you just need help with a specific design or marketing piece.

Interested? Let’s Get Started

If you’re interested in a Business Refresh Day, the best first step is a short intake so I can understand what’s going on and suggest the right fit. You don’t need to have answers yet. This just helps us start in the right place.

Once I review this, I’ll follow up with a recommendation and next steps.

If you’re not sure it’s the right fit yet, I’m happy to talk through your situation and see what makes sense.
