BUILT, NOT JUST BRANDED
These aren't mockups — they're real, open and running. A few hospitality brands I've built, grown or given a voice to, with the numbers to back it up.
DEAD RIVER SALOON – Reading what's already working, and knowing when to lead – Chris and Ajshe built the go-to spot in a 400-person town, even through winter. Janet handles the marketing materials — logo, menus, signage, merch — with a website recommendation still to come. Merch sells out regularly; a full events calendar runs on word of mouth alone.
THE ART BAR & BOUTIQUE – Standing up a brand from a bare brick building. – Berlin had nowhere for a great glass of wine or cocktail — so Janet and three partners built one. She led the brand, interior design, and class programming for an upscale bar built on cocktails, classes, and retail from day one. Still open in Berlin today.
THE HOUSE ON PARK – Turning a market gap into a growing hospitality brand. – Janet saw a historic Greek Revival home in Berlin's historic district and built the lodging the town lacked — "The Northern Southern Mansion," NYC-inspired rooms, and a growing events calendar. Revenue up 5.7x since 2018. Airbnb Superhost, 15 quarters running.
